CAASNM’s results and impact are carefully monitored through the National Association for State Community Services Programs (NASCSP), which is the national association charged with administering the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG). NASCSP indicators on community and individual health are reported to the states, to the federal government, and ultimately to Congress to attest to each Community Action Agency’s important role of empowering low-income families on their path to self-sufficiency.
