Support

As a locally-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit providing services to New Mexico for almost 60 years, Community Action Agency of Southern New Mexico (CAASNM) is a trusted organization that directly addresses the causes and conditions of poverty in our communities. It does so through programs that are sensitive to the make-up of the families we serve. Your support of our services creates positive change in people’s lives, and helps all members of our community truly thrive.

Your donations are tax-deductible to the extent provided for by current IRS regulations, and we always suggest you consult with a tax professional as you plan your gift. If you have any questions about the information that follows and would like to speak to someone directly about our donation opportunities, please contact Dawn Z. Key Programs

Some special CAASNM especially needing your support are these:

Family Supports—helping families to meet basic and emergency needs.

Coats for Kids—C4K distributes over 2,500 new and gently used coats for children in Las Cruces and rural areas of Doña Ana County. Your gift this year (2024) will be matched by the Carl C. Anderson Sr. and Mary Jo Anderson Foundation.

Where needs are greatest—CAASNM serves thousands of New Mexico families a year. Your unrestricted gift can help them all on the path to greater family well-being
