Mercedes' Story
With 10 years experience in the child care business, Mercedes Rangel, owner and operator of Cri Cri Child Care Center in Sunland Park continues to engage her children in numerous activities. The children not only adore their child care provider, they also pitch in to help one another with reading and writing assignments, the result of excellence in child care. When asked to pose for a photo, all the children present did not hesitate to gather around Mercedes for total inclusion. Mercedes originally started the Cri Cri child care business in her home with six children. Because of her hard work and perseverance, she has expanded to a commercial facility where she cares for 40 children and is equipped for up to 60 children.
