ELEV8
The ELEV8 Program is designed to help middle school students and their families make an effective transition to high school. ELEV8 opened in September of 2008 and is located inside Gadsden Middle School for students and families.
The program includes after-school programs, comprehensive school based health, family supports and services, ESL classes, Financial Literacy, GED classes, and referrals to other area services. 556 students have been served to date (265 mental health, 291 primary care).
In the 2008-09 school year, the Student Health Centers had 2,075 visits. Below is a list of high schools who offer this valuable service.
